Who are we?

With over one thousand broadcast credits and a multi-genre slate, Flying Broom Pictures founder Renée's career in television is as expansive as her story engine brain. Graduating from AFTRS with a double degree in Screenwriting for Series Television and Script Editing and Development, Renée is currently an in-house Screenwriter and Script Editor at Home and Away (Seven Studios), Australia’s number one drama with a nightly audience over a million , and sold to a hundred countries across the globe. 

An expert in episodic narrative and plotting story, Renée was invited to join a bespoke writer’s group to extend her writing practice and develop her body of work. She has a gift for finding meaning and safety through evoking darkness, taboos, rebirth and transformation.

Renée’s diverse storytelling ability makes her the best at what she does. Often, she will work with pleasure in writers rooms and provide guidance and feedback to improve someone else’s product to make them more attractive to the audience, producers and market.
